Chess Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vinegar
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. cornmeal
1/2 tsp. nutmeg, if desired
1/2 c. butter or margarine
Preparation

Combine all ingredients in order given and stir only enough to mix thoroughly.
Do not beat.
Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake for 1 hour in 350\u00b0 preheated oven.
This pie freezes well.
