Prune Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. softened margarine
1 c. chopped prunes
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 c. flour with 1/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. prune juice
1 c. chopped English walnuts
Preparation

Grease and flour 2 (8 or 9-inch) layer cake pans.
Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Cream margarine and sugar.
Add whole eggs, chopped prunes.
Add flour with salt and soda alternately with prune juice.
Add walnuts last.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
