Stuffed Green Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef (raw)
    1 large onion, chopped
    4 c. rice, cooked
    1 egg
    1 can tomatoes, cut up
    1 stalk celery, chopped (optional)
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder (optional)
    1 tsp. parsley (optional)
    4 large peppers, cut in half and seeded
    2 to 3 cans tomato sauce
Preparation
    Mix first 8 ingredients together in a large bowl.
    Fill pepper halves with filling and place in casserole dish or pan.
    Pour over the tomato sauce.
    Cover with aluminum foil.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
