Pickled Peaches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2 1/2) can peach halves
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 stick cinnamon
    1/2 Tbsp. whole cloves
    1 c. syrup from peaches
Preparation
    Put everything, except peaches, in saucepan.
    Simmer for 5 minutes.
    Add peach halves.
    Bring to boil; take off heat and cool.
    Pour into jars and place in refrigerator overnight.
