Fullmer'S Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    3 Tbsp. oil
    4 strips bacon
    3/4 c. corn meal
    1/4 c. sugar
    3/4 to 1 c. milk
    4 Tbsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients; make a well in the middle.
    Add wet ingredients; mix until well moistened.
    Place bacon in bottom of large cast-iron skillet or a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Pour mixture over bacon.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
