Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. cornmeal
2 tsp. flour (heaping)
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 pinch of sugar
1 egg
sweet milk

Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together.
Add egg and enough milk to moisten ingredients thoroughly.
Drop by spoon into deep fat (400\u00b0) and cook until golden brown.
