Zucchini And Sausage Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. zucchini, sliced
    2 c. celery, chopped
    1 c. onion, chopped
    1 lb. Italian sausage
    1 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
    1 tsp. dried oregano
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. dried basil
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
    1 (28 oz.) can diced tomatoes (undrained)
Preparation
    In large saucepan, brown the sausage. Remove with a slotted spoon to paper towel to drain, reserving 1 tablespoon of drippings.
    Saute celery and onion in drippings for 5 minutes. Add sausage and remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes or until veggies are tender. Add water to make thinner, if necessary. Serves 9.
