Cherry Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. margarine
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. oatmeal
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add flour, oatmeal, baking soda and salt.
    Mix well.
    Press 1/2 of this crumb mixture into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Spread pie filling on top. Sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
