Quick Sausage Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bulk pork sausage
    1 c. finely chopped onion
    1 c. finely chopped green pepper
    1 can (1 lb.) tomatoes
    1 c. dairy sour cream
    1 c. water
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1 to 2 tsp. chili powder
    8 oz. uncooked narrow noodles
Preparation
    Brown sausage, onion and green pepper in 10-inch skillet over medium heat until meat is brown and onion is tender.
    Pour off any fat.
    Lower temperature.
    Combine tomatoes, sour cream, water and seasonings; stir into meat mixture.
    Gently stir in noodles. Cover pan and simmer for 30 to 45 minutes or until noodles are tender, stirring occasionally.
    Yields 4 to 6 servings.
