Eleanor'S Sausage Strata - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices white bread, trimmed
    1 c. Swiss cheese, grated
    1 1/2 lb. sausage, crumbled, browned and drained
    1 tsp. prepared mustard
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    4 eggs, beaten
    3/4 c. half and half cream
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Butter a 9 x 12-inch glass baking dish.
    Place bread to fit on bottom.
    Next, combine sausage with remaining ingredients; place on bread crumbs and top with cheese.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Great as an appetizer or as part of a luncheon.
