Dessert Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can light cottage cheese
    1 (9 oz.) carton light Cool Whip
    1 small jar drained maraschino cherries, cut up
    1 small pkg. cherry or raspberry jello
    chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Mix cottage cheese and Cool Whip.
    Add cherries and nuts and mix together.
    Sprinkle dry jello over mixture, toss well and chill.
    Serve.
