Sharon'S Pecan Pie Squares - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. Gold Medal flour
1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. margarine
3/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Grease 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch pan.
Beat all ingredients together.
Mixture will be dry.
Press firmly in pan.
Bake until light golden brown, about 20 minutes.
Prepare filling (recipe follows).
Pour over baked layer.
Spread evenly.
Bake until filling is set, approximately 25 minutes.
Cool.
Cut in squares.
