Scotch Shortbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. butter
1 c. cornstarch
4 c. flour
1 c. sugar
Preparation

Have butter at room temperature.
Mix cornstarch, flour and sugar in a bowl.
After completely mixing, knead in butter thoroughly.
Spread mixture evenly in a 9 x 13-inch pan; flatten evenly with hands and spatula.
Prick entire surface with a fork (many times).
Bake for 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
Score into pieces with sharp knife after taken out of oven.
Should be cool before eating.
Sprinkle with 10x sugar when slightly cool.
