Stuffed Green Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 green peppers
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    2 c. cooked rice
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 c. shredded cheese
Preparation
    Wash and halve green peppers.
    Lightly mix beef, rice, onion, salt, pepper and 1/2 can tomato sauce.
    Spoon into peppers. Arrange in shallow baking dish.
    Pour remaining sauce over peppers. Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Remove cover; top each pepper with cheese.
    Bake 15 minutes longer.
