Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 c. sour cream
1 c. finely chopped onion
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 (32 oz.) pkg. frozen loose packed hash browns, thawed
1 c. crushed corn flakes
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. butter, melted
Preparation

Mix together. Fold in potatoes. Turn mixture into a greased 9 x 12 casserole dish. Toss corn flakes with 1 tablespoon butter. Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour or until casserole is golden brown and the potatoes are tender.
