Scalloped Oysters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pt. oysters
6 Tbsp. milk
1/2 c. melted butter
1 1/2 c. cracker crumbs
salt
pepper
Preparation

Wash oysters in cold water.
Add cracker crumbs to melted butter; mix well.
Cover the bottom of a baking dish with a thin layer of crumbs.
Add a layer of oysters.
Season with salt and pepper; add 1/2 the milk.
Repeat and cover top with remaining crumbs.
Bake in moderate oven for 30 to 45 minutes.
