Texas Caviar - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 cans black-eyed peas, drained
    1 bunch fresh cilantro (approximately 1/2 c. chopped)
    juice of 3 limes (approximately 1/4 c.)
    4 to 5 cloves crushed garlic
    1 bunch green onions, chopped
    Tabasco to taste
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Combine all of the ingredients in a plastic container with a lid.
    Allow the ingredients to marinate overnight or 2 or 3 days, if time permits, in the refrigerator.
    Serve with tortilla chips.
