Dilly Casserole Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. yeast
1 c. creamed cottage cheese
1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
2 tsp. dill seed
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. warm water
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in water.
Heat cottage cheese to lukewarm. Combine sugar, onion, butter, dill seed, salt, baking soda and egg in a bowl with cheese and yeast mixture.
Add flour to form stiff dough.
Cover and let rise until doubled in bulk.
Stir down dough. Turn into well-greased 1 1/2-quart casserole or 8-inch round pan. Let rise 30 to 40 minutes or until light.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven 40 to 50 minutes.
Brush with butter and sprinkle with salt.
Yields 1 loaf.
