Sticky Buns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. lukewarm water
    1/4 c. soft shortening
    1 c. scalding milk
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. salt
    2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix milk, shortening, sugar, salt and 1 cup flour.
    Beat with spoon.
    Add yeast and egg.
    Add rest of flour; let rise until double.
    Punch down.
    Roll; spread with butter.
    Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
    Roll as for jelly roll.
    Slice 1-inch thick and put in pan on top of Sticky Goo.
    Let rise until Goo cannot be seen.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Take out and let rest 1 minute; turn upside-down on cookie sheet.
