Apple, Raisin, Walnut Cake - cooking recipe

3 eggs
1 c. vegetable oil
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. grated, unpeeled apples
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. raisins
3/4 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Beat oil and eggs together until foamy; add sugar and vanilla. Continue to beat.
Add apples, beating slightly; set aside.
Sift flour, soda, salt and spices.
Add raisins and walnuts to flour mixture.
Add flour mixture to egg mixture, beating slightly. Bake at 350\u00b0 in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Check for doneness in 60 minutes.
This is a heavy cake, so may take longer.
