Fricidillie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 slices fresh soft white bread
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 eggs, lightly beaten
    2 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. Crisco shortening
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Tear bread into small bits and add to meat with salt and pepper.
    Add eggs and milk and mix well.
    (Mixture will be very soft.)
    Melt shortening in a skillet.
    Drop in meat mixture by teaspoonfuls.
    Brown on both sides.
