Alice'S Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped pecans
1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 stick butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 lb. box powdered sugar
Preparation

Mix coconut and pecans and spread evenly in bottom of a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix the cake mix according to package directions. Pour over coconut and pecans.
In a saucepan, melt butter with cream cheese; heat until it is soft enough to whip in the powdered sugar. Spoon evenly over cake batter in pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes. Cool thoroughly before cutting.
