Baked Alaska - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 egg whites
4 Tbsp. granulated sugar
1 round layer cake bottom
raspberry or strawberry jam
1 pt. vanilla ice cream
Preparation

Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Carefully fold in sugar.
Place layer cake bottom on an ovenproof plate.
Spread jam evenly over bottom.
Cover with ice cream.
Immediately spread meringue evenly over top.
Meringue should cover ice cream completely.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for a couple of minutes until meringue has a light brown color.
Serve immediately.
