To Can Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. salt
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 gal. water
Preparation
    Dissolve salt and sugar
    in water.
    Bring to boil.
    Add about 1 cup to a quart
    jar
    and
    put
    steaks
    in.
    Enough for about 16 quarts.
    Cold pack
    for
    1
    1/2 hours or can pressure can at 10 pound pressure for 45 minutes.
