1-2-3-4 Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. lemon extract
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
3 c. cake flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
Preparation

Grease and flour a large tube pan.
Cream shortening, salt and lemon extract.
Add sugar gradually and the eggs, one at a time. Beat until mixture looks like whipped cream.
Alternately add the dry ingredients, which have been sifted together with milk.
Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 1 hour.
