Mama Clayton'S Divinity Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1/2 c. water
    2 egg whites
Preparation
    Cook first 3 ingredients
    over\tmedium\theat
    until
    it forms a hard ball when tested
    in
    cold
    water.
    Beat
    2\tegg whites until stiff.
    Then\tpour
    syrup mixture slowly over egg whites. Beat until mixture begins
    to lose its gloss and soft peaks form. Spoon drops onto wax paper and let cool.
