Reunion Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    6 oz. chocolate chips
    3/4 c. butter
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    14 oz. light caramels
Preparation
    Melt caramels with 1/3 c. evaporated milk.
    Mix cake with remaining milk, butter, and walnuts.
    In a buttered and floured 9 x 13 inch pan, spread half of the cake mixture.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes.
    While hot, add chocolate chips on top. Spread caramel mixture over that, and then remaining cake mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes.
    Cool, then cut into squares.
