Five Pound Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 pt. sugar
    1 1/2 pt. cream
    1 pt. Karo syrup
    2 lb. pecans
    vanilla
Preparation
    Cook slowly until soft-ball stage and set off. Add vanilla. When lukewarm, add pecans. Beat until stiff like. Pour into greased pan. Can halve the recipe.
