Scones - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    6 Tbsp. butter
    2 eggs
    1/3 c. cream or sour cream
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Lightly butter a baking sheet.
    Sift dry ingredients together into a bowl.
    Add the butter and work with your fingertips until mixture resembles coarse meal.
    Combine eggs, cream and vanilla in a bowl and beat until combined.
    Add to flour mixture.
    Stir just until moistened.
    Flour hands well. Working quickly, lightly put the dough in an 8-inch round.
    With a sharp knife, score the round into 8 wedges.
    Set on baking sheet. Bake 20 minutes until top is brown.
    Serve warm.
