Gingerbread Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. syrup
4 to 6 slices pineapple
1/4 c. raisins
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. molasses
1 c. hot water
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. ginger
1 1/2 tsp. cloves
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Melt butter in cake pan.
Add syrup and bring to a boil.
Add pineapple and raisins.
Cream shortening and sugar.
Add egg and dry ingredients.
Add molasses and water.
Pour batter over 1st mixture.
Bake 30 or 35 minutes.
Serve with or without cream.
