Almond Bars (Dunking Type) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 lb. (16 oz.) almond pieces
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
Preparation

Beat eggs, sugar and oil thoroughly.
Add all dry ingredients and mix well.
Add almonds last.
If almonds don't stick to dough, add a little water.
Form 3 balls.
Roll the balls into long strips to fit cookie sheet.
Place on greased and floured cookie sheet.
Brush each strip with egg wash (1 egg beaten with 1 tablespoon water).
Bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
Cool about 10 minutes.
Cut cookies at an angle.
Don't toast them. This is an excellent cookie that you will make often.
