Candied Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/4 tsp. salt
    6 to 8 cooked sweet potatoes, peeled and halved lengthwise
Preparation
    In skillet, combine brown sugar, corn syrup, butter or margarine and salt.
    Bring mixture to a boil at 250\u00b0.
    Stir until butter melts and sugar dissolves.
    Add sweet potatoes; baste with syrup.
    Reduce heat to \"simmer\".
    Cook, covered, for 15 minutes. Uncover; cook 10 minutes, basting occasionally.
