Poppy Seed Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. corn oil
    2 1/2 c. sugar or Twin equal to sugar
    4 tsp. prepared mustard
    4 tsp. salt (can use salt substitute)
    1 medium onion, grated
    1/4 c. poppy seed
    1 1/2 c. white vinegar
Preparation
    Moisten sugar with 1/3
    cup
    of the vinegar.
    Add salt, onion and mustard.
    Add
    remaining vinegar and small amount of oil at a time.
    Beat
    until mixture is thick.
    Add poppy seed. Makes a lot; will keep in refrigerator months.
