Mushroom Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk, scalded
    1/4 c. honey
    2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 c. cracked wheat
    1 envelope mushroom soup mix
    2 pkg. yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    1 c. whole wheat flour
    2 1/2 to 3 c. flour
    butter, softened
Preparation
    Combine the first six ingredients in a large bowl.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Add yeast, wheat flour and 1 cup of plain flour to the cracked wheat mixture.
    Beat 2 minutes on medium speed, scraping bowl frequently.
    Stir in enough flour to make dough easy to handle.
