Strawberry Bavarian - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 pt. strawberries
    3 envelopes unflavored gelatin
    3/4 c. cold water
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    1 c. heavy cream, whipped
    3 egg yolks
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 tsp. almond extract
    1 c. milk, scalded
Preparation
    Wash and hull the berries and save 3 or perfect ones for garnish.
    Puree remaining berries in blender at low speed, then strain to remove seeds.
    Sprinkle gelatin over water to soften. Bring 1/4 cup of strained strawberries and sugar to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar.
    Remove from heat and add gelatin, stirring until dissolved.
    Add remaining puree and 1/2 teaspoon almond extract.
    Chill, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
    Fold in whipped cream.
    Turn into a 6-cup mold.
    Chill until firm.
