Jean'S Real Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raw rice
    1 c. chopped tomato
    1/2 c. chopped green onions (some tops)
    1/2 c. butter
    3 c. chicken broth
    1/2 c. red wine
    2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 c. cooked peas
    1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
    1 lb. chopped mushrooms or sliced, canned mushrooms
Preparation
    In a large skillet, cook rice, tomatoes, mushrooms and onions in butter for 10 minutes.
    Stir well.
    Add wine and seasonings; mix well.
    Add broth.
    Cover; simmer for 45 minutes.
    When rice is tender, add peas and sprinkle with cheese.
    Serve.
