Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. molasses
1 1/2 c. flour
dash of salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. boiling water
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar until light.
Add egg and molasses. Beat well.
