Zucchini Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 medium zucchini squash, washed and sliced
    1 c. fine dry bread crumbs
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 medium onion, chopped
    4 Tbsp. oleo
    1 small jar diced pimento
    1 tsp. salt
    6 crackers, crushed
    1 Tbsp. sugar (optional)
Preparation
    Cook squash in salted water until tender; drain.
    Saute onion in butter.
    Combine with squash; add bread crumbs, pimento and beaten eggs.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Turn into a buttered 2-quart glass baking dish and sprinkle with crushed crackers. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Serves 8.
