Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. white syrup
    3 to 4 c. uncooked peanuts
    3 tsp. butter
    3 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cook the sugar, water and white syrup together until spins thread.
    Add the peanuts; cook and stir until golden brown.
    Have ready the last 3 ingredients; mix and pour onto 2 cookie sheets which have been buttered.
    Spread and cool.
    Break into pieces.
