Cinnamon Swirl Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. and 1 (6 oz.) pkg. lemon gelatin
    1/2 c. red cinnamon candies
    3 c. boiling water
    2 c. applesauce
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    dash of salt
    1/2 c. California walnuts
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/4 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
Preparation
    Dissolve candies in boiling water.
    Dissolve gelatin in candy liquid.
    Stir in applesauce, lemon juice and salt.
    Cool until partially set.
    Fold in nuts.
    Turn into 8 x 8-inch pan.
    Beat together cream cheese, milk and mayonnaise.
    Spoon over salad. Swirl to marble.
    Chill until firm.
    Cut into 9 squares.
