Mixed Vegetable Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. apple cider vinegar
    4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salt
    1 Tbsp. black pepper
    1 gal. quartered green tomatoes
    1/2 gal. green and red bell peppers
    1/2 gal. onions
    1 qt. cauliflower flowerets
Preparation
    Mix first 4 ingredients; bring to boil.
    Add vegetables; cook for 5 minutes.
    Pack in hot jars.
    Cover with brine and seal.
