Aunt Helen'S German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    15 salad potatoes
    1/2 lb. bacon
    3 Tbsp. bacon grease
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/3 c. water
    1/3 c. apple cider vinegar
    1 medium onion
Preparation
    Boil 15 salad potatoes with the skins until done.
    Usually the skins will split when done.
    Cool.
    Skin potatoes and slice very thin.
    Crumble cooked crisp bacon into potatoes.
    Add bacon grease.
    Add sugar to water and vinegar; stir until dissolved. Add to potatoes; add onion.
    Mix gently.
