Deep Sea Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. stew beef
    1 pkg. \"Astor\" stew mix
    1 can baby carrots
    1 can green beans
    1 can sliced small potatoes
    Mrs. Dash original table mix and onion mix
Preparation
    Remove any excess fat from stew beef and slice into small thin pieces. Brown it in a pan, adding a little meat tenderizer. Strain the fat out.
    Add the recommended amount of water on mix packet.
    Drain carrots, beans and potatoes.
    Add the mix, carrots, beans and sliced potatoes.
    Stir slowly on medium heat for 10 minutes. Stir in 1 teaspoon each of Mrs. Dash spices.
    Vary according to personal taste.
    Set heat to lowest possible boiling point. Cover and simmer for 1 hour, stirring every 10 minutes. Uncover and stir until desired thickness is achieved.
