Broccoli-Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. chopped onions
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 large can College Inn chicken broth
    8 oz. fine egg noodles
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1 lb. Velveeta cheese, cut up
    2 bunches chopped fresh broccoli
    6 c. milk
    1 lb. crisp bacon
Preparation
    In 6-quart pan, saute onions in butter until translucent.
    Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
    Add chopped broccoli.
    When it boils again, add egg noodles.
    Cook 3 minutes.
    Add garlic powder and cheese.
    Stir continuously until cheese melts.
    Add milk and bacon.
    Stir frequently to prevent sticking to bottom of pan until heated through.
    Serve.
