Date Nut Chewies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. oleo
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. allspice
1 c. chopped nuts
2 c. chopped dates

Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cream butter and sugar.
Beat in eggs. Sift dry ingredients and add to mixture.
Stir in nuts and dates. Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
