Chocolate Revel Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine or butter, softened
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 c. packed brown sugar
    2 eggs
    4 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3 c. quick-cooking rolled oats
    1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    1 (14 oz.) can (1 1/4 c.) sweetened condensed milk
    2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    In a large
    mixer
    bowl
    beat
    1
    cup margarine with an electric mixer on medium speed for 30 seconds.
    Add about half the flour,
    all
    the
    brown
    sugar,
    eggs,
    2 teaspoons of the vanilla and
    baking
    soda.
    Beat on low speed until thoroughly combined. Beat in remaining flour. Stir in oats.
