Chocolate Parfaits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. cocoa
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. cold milk
    2 1/2 c. hot milk, scalded
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. heavy cream, whipped or 1 pkg. prepared topping mix, whipped
Preparation
    In 2-quart saucepan, combine cocoa, cornstarch, sugar, salt and cold milk.
    Stir until smooth.
    Gradually add hot milk, stirring constantly.
    Heat over medium-low heat.
    Stir constantly until mixture thickens, about 5 minutes.
    Cool; stir in vanilla.
    Place layers of pudding and whipped cream or topping mixture in parfait glasses to serve.
    Makes 6 servings.
