Creamed Scallops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. sea scallops
    1 c. chopped onions
    8 oz. sour cream
    1/2 c. chicken broth
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 tsp. white pepper
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. m.s.g. (optional)
Preparation
    Wash and dry scallops.
    Blend cornstarch with 4 tablespoons chicken broth.
    Heat butter on medium/high heat and saute scallops for 5 minutes.
    Remove and set aside.
    Add onions and saute for 30 seconds.
    Add sour cream and chicken broth, stirring occasionally. Add white pepper and m.s.g.
    Simmer for 2 minutes, add scallops. Simmer for another 2 minutes to thicken broth.
    Add cornstarch mixture little amount at a time, until desired thickness is achieved.
