Cornmeal Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. cornmeal
    1/2 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
Preparation
    Sift cornmeal, flour, sugar, salt and baking powder together into mixing bowl.
    Stir in egg, milk and bacon drippings, mixing well.
    Fill 8 greased muffin cups 2/3 full with batter.
    Bake in a preheated 425\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes or until browned.
