Easter Bread - cooking recipe

12 eggs
1 c. plus 1 serving spoon sugar
1 envelope yeast, melted in 1 c. warm water
3/4 c. Crisco
8 c. flour (or until dough doesn't stick to hands)
2 Tbsp. extract (anise, vanilla, lemon or orange)
Preparation

Beat eggs.
Add sugar, melted Crisco and yeast.
Add flour, a little at a time, until dough doesn't stick to hands.
Put in large greased bowl. Cover with several dish towels and let rise. Shape into loaves and let rise again.
Place loaves on greased cookie sheets and bake at 325\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
